Ms. Jeffers holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas
Tech and a Masters of Arts in curriculum and instruction
with an emphasis in Bilingual Education, English Language Arts
and Reading from the University of Colorado.
Before becoming principal at Northgate, Ms. Jeffers was the
Director of Community Engagement and Dropout Prevention for the
Adams 14 School District. The Director of Community Engagement
develops and fosters collaborative relationships with schools,
departments and the community.
Prior to that position she was a co-Principal Adams City
High School with a focus on of Operations, from 2015 to 2018,
she has also worked as a principal coach. Ms. Jeffers was the
principal at Kearney Middle School and from 2007 to 2015 in the
Adams 14 District. Before Adams 14, she was the assistant principal
at Grant Ranch, a preK-8 school within the Denver Public Schools
system.
Overall Ms. Jeffers has twenty-seven years of experience
in public education. She is bilingual and a fluent Spanish speaker.
