Todd is a third generation Colorado native from the Denver area. He attended the University of Northern Colorado on a wrestling scholarship. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Spanish: Secondary Education with a minor in Special Education. He received his Masters in Education with emphasis on social, multicultural, and bilingual equality from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also received his Education Specialist Degree from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Picture of Todd LeggeHe began his teaching at Skinner Middle School in Denver. Followed by a year of teach at Brighton High School where he was an English Language Development and Spanish teacher. He was also an assistant wrestling coach. He spent another year at North High School in Denver teaching Spanish and was the head wrestling coach. This was followed by a year at Jefferson High School where he was an AP (Advanced Placement) Spanish teacher and head wrestling coach.

He taught a Prairie View High School in Brighton for six years and held several different teaching positions including a couple of AP classes. Again, he was an assistant wrestling coach. For the past five years he was at Adams 14 Public Schools at both Adams City High School and Lester Arnold High School (an alternative high school). At Adams 14, he held the positions of Counselor, Administrative Team Member, ELD Interventionist, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal.

Todd was a Co-Founder of the Mile High Wrestling Club. This is a non profit organization that is a year round wrestling school. This program serves kids from four to nineteen years of age in the Metro Denver Area. Todd has said "It has been my experience that nothing in lift will prepare a person for success better than a solid work ethic based in good discipline. Wrestling gave this to me…"

Regarding his position at SOAR Academy, Todd said: "Working in the world of language development has always been a passion of mine and this new venture at SOAR is no different. This is my first time as a principal and it is a challenge that I'm extremely excited to take on."

"I am the very proud father of 5 kids, two boys and three girls and am married to my high school sweetheart having been together for 22 years. I live to serve others and have spent my lifetime preparing for an opportunity like the one I'm currently in at SOAR Academy. I'm extremely grateful for this time period of my life!"
