Marc is originally from Missouri. He obtained his BA degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He returned to teach at his high school alma mater in St. Joseph, Missouri. He taught English and History. During that time, he continued his post graduate studies at the University of Missouri - Kansas City where he obtained his Master's Degree in Education Administration and Leadership.
He was an assistant principal before coming to Sheridan. He became the principal of Sheridan High School in the fall of 1982 and served in that position through the spring of 1986. After Sheridan, he was principal in Aurora Public Schools for seventeen years. First at Aurora Central and then at Rangeview High School.
In 1992 he served as an educational consultant to Colorado Governor Roy Romer. He was the State Principal of the Year in 1995.
He retired in 2003. He started his own consulting company
in 2003. In 2005 he became the Independent Greek Advocate at
the University of Colorado and continues to this day. He serves
as an advisor and mentor to the Interfraternity Council and it's
16 chapter members serving over 1,200 undergraduate men.
