Picture of Marc D. StineMarc Stine was born on May 8, 1947 the son of Solomon "Sol" Stine and Leah Jane Netzorg in Missouri. He married his wife Nanette "Nan" Louise Roloff in St. Joseph, Missouri on July, 8, 1979.

He obtained his BA degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He returned to teach at his high school alma mater in St. Joseph, Missouri. He taught English and History. During that time, he continued his post graduate studies at the University of Missouri - Kansas City where he obtained his Master's Degree in Education Administration and Leadership.

He was an assistant principal before coming to Sheridan. He became the principal of Sheridan High School in the fall of 1982 and served in that position through the spring of 1986. After Sheridan, he was principal in Aurora Public Schools for seventeen years. First at Aurora Central and then at Rangeview High School.

In 1992 he served as an educational consultant to Colorado Governor Roy Romer. He was the State Principal of the Year in 1995.

He retired in 2003. He started his own consulting company in 2003. In 2005 he became the Independent Greek Advocate at the University of Colorado. He served as an advisor and mentor to the Interfraternity Council and it's 16 chapter members serving over 1,200 undergraduate men. He retired from the IFC in in 2021. During his tenture the IFC grew from 16 to 22 fraternities to 2,100 members.

Marc Stine passed away on November 16, 2025. He was 78 years old. His health had slowly declined after Covid. He passed away at home in Parker, Colorado. He was predeceased by his parents Sol and Leah and his sisters Linda and Vicki. The picture below is Marc Stine in 2021. A memorial service was held on December 13, 2025 at Rangeview High School.
