Mark Langston comes from a military family. He attended schools in several states when he was young. He went to high school and college in South Carolina and participated in athetics and music. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Physical Education from the University of South Carolina. After college he met his wife Hilary, whom was from Boulder, Colorado. He taught high school science for five years in South Carolina. He spent another two years in administration. He later obtained his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Education Administration.
He moved to Colorado and became the Assistant Principal at
Monarch High School. He was looking for an opportunity to become
a principal and came to Sheridan High School in June, 2006. He
only stayed at Sheridan for one year. After Sheridan, he spent
time in the Adams 12 school district. He is currently the Assistant
Principal at Brighton High School in Brighton, Colorado.
