Gregory "Greg" J. Gotchey is a Colorado native from Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Mullen High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University. Greg received his Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Greg was a math and science teacher before becoming a school administrator in 2001. He was also a swimming coach.
"When I was coaching swimming at Mullen we practiced at and coop with Sheridan High School. I was fortunate enough to get to know and coach a few Sheridan Rams."
Before Sheridan, Greg was the Assistant Principal at Elizabeth High School for two years. He came to Sheridan High School in 2003 as Principal.
"I remember very fondly my time at Sheridan. Great teachers, great community, and great students."
After Sheridan, Greg was the Principal of Mullen High School for several years. Later he was the Assistant Principal at Brighton High School. He has been the Principal at Chaparral High School in Parker, Colorado since 2013.
Greg served on the Colorado High School Activities Association
(CHSAA) swimming and diving committee for several years.
