Eileen Doolan was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Eileen received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. She received her Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado. She has a Vocation Credential as a Teacher and Coordinator from Colorado State University. From the University of Denver she has her Administrative License in Administration, Supervision & Curriculum and Secondary School Administration / Principalship.
Her first teaching job was in special education on an Indian Reservation in Arizona. From 1987 to 2003 was worked at Jefferson High School (Jefferson County, Colorado) as a special education teacher. Later she became the Dean of Students and then an Assistant Principal.
From 2003 to 2015 she was the Assistant Principal and Activity Director for Columbine High School. From 2015 to 2016 she was the Dean of Student Success at Chatfield High School. She came to Sheridan as the interim principal in the spring of 2017. Foregoing retirement, she stayed at Sheridan and last year was the Assistant Principal.
When Shirley Miles was given the additional responsibility of Chief Academic Officer for the district in July, 2018, Eileen became a Co-Principal at Sheridan High School. On Sepember 11, 2018, Shirley became the full time CAO and Eileen assumed all of the resposibilities of Principal.
In the early fall of 2019, Eileen served as Co-Principal. In
October of 2019, Eileen moved to the Assistant Principal position.
