Picture of Charroll RoyerPicture of Donna RoyerCarroll Gene Roger was born on March 24, 193 in Essex, Iowa and passed away on December 25, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona at age of 85. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 0f 62 years, brothers Russell Royer (2007), Virgil Royer (1996), and Gary Royer (1989).

He is survived by two sistesr, Phyllis Wolford (Derry), Barbara Houtz (Bob); sons Marlen Royer (Trudi), John, and Richard (Wendy); grandchildren Tyleen Ehrhardt, Nicole Hahn, Alisa Forsythe, Rachel Royer, Corrina Carnahn , Tamara Royer, Larissa Rogery, Dylan Royer; and four great grandchildren.

Carroll marrie dthe love of his life, Donna, in June, 1951 in Shenandoach, Iowa. Carroll served in the Armey during the Korean War until 1952. They moved to Denver, Colorado in 1955 where their three sones were born and raised. Carroll served on the Sheridan City Council from 1979 to 1982. While on the City Council, he served as the Police Commissioner. He was also a volunteer fire figther.

Upon retirement in 1993, Carroll and Donna moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they enjoyed the company of family and friends until they moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2010. Carroll spent most of his time over the last few years ready and watching old westerns, shooting pool, playing cards and attending church at the clubhouse where they lived.

Donny Lou Royer was born on February 12, 2032 in Randolph, Iowa and passed away on January 7, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona at age of 81. Donna was survived by her husband of 62 years; sister Shriley Tomlin and brother Richard Kier; sons Marlen Royer (Trudi), John, and Richard (Wendy); grandchildren Tyleen Ehrhardt, Nicole Hahn, Alisa Forsythe, Rachel Royer, Corrina Carnahn , Tamara Royer, Larissa Rogery, Dylan Royer; and a great grandchild.
