Clark Charles Bond was born on January 26, 1937 the son of Ray E. Bond and Frances Bond (nee Keyes) in Denver, CO. He passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2021. He was 84 years old.

Mr. Bond's family moved to the Petersburg area of Sheridan in the 1930s. He attended Petersburg Elementary School through the tenth grade and then attended Sheridan Union High School. He was an active student and leader. He played football and baseball for the Rams and was the president of the letterman's club. As a leader, he was the president of his junior class, president of the senior class, and served on student council. He participated in the junior class play and the senior class play. He was in the Glee club. For fun he participated in the square dance club and the ski club. He graduated from Sheridan in 1954.

After graduation Clark enrolled at Denver University. "After two years of college, he went to work for Martin Company as a technical writer." He returned to college in January of 1959. Clark was married to his wife Vallie Jean Evans on June 20, 1959 in Denver, Colorado. Clark received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Science from the Denver University in 1961.

Mr. Bond had been offered a couple of jobs at other schools after college. While attending a Saturday Sheridan basketball game for his brother, he had a conversation with Superintendent Tom Murphy. He started teaching at Sheridan the following Monday. That was in the fall of 1961 and in 1965 he became the Assistant Principal. See the "History of Sheridan High School" schools_h_history1.pdf. Mr. Bond was interviewed in 2017 for that history. The history contains several of his remarks.

He served as the track coach and was a sponsor of the student council. "With the determination of a truly dedicated man, this coach guided his team to a second-place trophy in the District Track Meet. This is quite an accomplishment for an inexperienced coach."
